Hunter took his bootcamp experience to create his first startup, Cottage. Cottage matched developers with projects, introducing him to a community of builders, including his future colleage Andre Lacke (our Chief AI Officer).

Cottage may not have taken off as planned, but it led him to his life's love. While pitching Cottage at a startup event in Austin, Texas, he met Heather, who is now his wife. They now live in the charming city of Greenville, South Carolina. As they say, when one door closes, another opens—and sometimes it leads to love.

The Metacrafters Era: Where Courage Meets Code 💻

Before joining Chipp.AI, Hunter was the Lead Software Engineer at Metacrafters, focusing on their learning platform. Here, he met Scott Meyer, who jokingly called him a coward for not pushing code straight to production.
